Actually there was an art exhibition being held at Bayard Cutting Arboretum on this day so I guess she wanted to look nice. I hope you enjoy.

The Great South Bay is smooth as glass in the early morning but it looks like some storm clouds are moving in. It’s a shame because it’s a really clear day today and usually you can’t see the second bridge to Fire Island (Robert Moses Bridge to the right). I hope you enjoy.

Not just yet. The water temperature is only about 62 degrees where this was taken in New York. I hope you enjoy.

There is nothing better than taking a little snooze in the afternoon and this image reminded me of drifting in and out of consciousness while lying on a lawn chair next to a lake (Laurie). I hope you enjoy.

This is the first time I have ever seen a Seagull with this type of coloring. I hope you enjoy.

The winter is over and all of the browns and grays give way to vivid greens of new growth. I hope you enjoy.

I thought this old water spigot and its peeling paint was pretty interesting. I hope you enjoy.

The sunlight was hitting these leaves just at the correct angle to give them a little translucence. I decided the leaves should be in focus and the small dock and the lake in the background should be left to the imagination. I hope you enjoy.

I thought this old fashioned “Merry Go Round” was kind of cool but it seemed kind of weird there were no children on this beautiful day. It reminded me of the Cat Stevens tune “Where Do The Children Play”. I hope you enjoy.

There is something strange about this photo that I just can’t put my finger on. Oh Yeah it’s upside down and it a reflection. I hope you enjoy.
