This is the first time I have ever seen a Seagull with this type of coloring. I hope you enjoy.

The seagull looks like it’s going to a masquerade ball.

We have lots of them here. In Estonian and Finnish they are called Laughing Gull. I think it is the sound they make… it’s a bit like laughing. 🙂 Great photo Joe, such detail!

I have never seen one with those colours either. Good find. I have seagulls nesting on my roof and they also come and tap on my window for food. I am not looking forward to them attacking us though when the baby gets a bit bigger. Perils of living by the sea. 🙂

I’m glad I am not the only one who never saw one with these colors Jo 🙂 That must have been pretty creepy the first time you heard the tap on the window 🙂 Have a great day.

I always wear a hat to cover my “dome” just in case I run across a gull that’s pissed off, LOL. Thanks and have a great evening Bess 🙂

I got had by a Seagull in while I was in St.Marc’s square in Venice recently. Since I’ve been back in the UK, I seem to have other seagulls trying to do the same! In fact there is one brazen fellow that comes and knocks on my bedroom window every morning with his beak, he’s been there like clock-work for the past week now. I’m getting good at dodging!
Have a great evening Joe 🙂

I would offer the suggestion that this is possibly a Laughing Gull (Larus atricilla).
