This is a 2008 performance of Prelude / Angry Young Man performed by Billy Joel at Shea Stadium in New York. Can you tell by the expressions on his face that he loves to play in front of a home crowd. I hope you enjoy.

The Great South Bay is smooth as glass in the early morning but it looks like some storm clouds are moving in. It’s a shame because it’s a really clear day today and usually you can’t see the second bridge to Fire Island (Robert Moses Bridge to the right). I hope you enjoy.

This is a remastered live performance of “Operator” performed by another artist that the world lost way too soon Jim Croce. I hope you enjoy.

This is an older VH-1 music video of Stevie Nicks and Tom petty performing “Stop Draggin My Heart Around”. I hope you enjoy.
Originally I shot image in in color but when I looked at the image on the LCD screen something was missing. I decided to switch the camera to black and white mode and apply the internal red filter to accentuate the clouds and textures of the building and now I think it looks correct. In case you didn’t notice there is a sundial on the building and the time was right on. I guess there is something to be said for ancient technology. This is part of the mansion at Planting Fields Arboretum. I hope you enjoy.

This is an awesome performance of “Pride and Joy” live at Montreux in 1982 by the late great Stevie Ray Vaughan. I can’t think of a better way to start a week off and I hope you enjoy.
There is nothing better than taking a little snooze in the afternoon and this image reminded me of drifting in and out of consciousness while lying on a lawn chair next to a lake (Laurie). I hope you enjoy.
