This is the business end of a 30mm Rotary Cannon on a Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II Warthog Anti-Tank aircraft. This canon is designed to fire a maximum of 3900 rounds per minute with 50 rounds per second (for the first second until the rotary canon comes up to speed) and up to 70 rounds per second thereafter.
If I was on the ground and needed help there would be no doubt with “who you gonna call”

From the angle I was shooting this from it looked like she was going to run right into that tree. Believe it or not this is December 27th and the temperature on Long Island is sunny and 51 degrees Fahrenheit. When I reviewed this image on the computer I noticed there was an Opticians sign above her so I thought the title of the photo was appropriate.

I was down at the beach early to catch some sunrise photos and on my way back to the car walking up the boardwalk I suddenly had a feeling I should turn around. This is what I saw shining through the vegetation on the sand dunes.
This is by far my favorite model year Ford pickup truck the 1956. This owner did a great job customizing this truck notice the exhaust tips exiting from the running boards.
I love the way the original wooden bed is restored on this truck.
And a little trick sheet metal work in the tailgate with some louvers. I hope you enjoy.
