I guess he’s just a great songwriter Emilio, and I hear he puts on a great live show. I was listening to an interview on Satellite radio with him and he still puts out vinyl albums along with CD’s and downloadable mp3’s. He did say the mp3’s are nothing like he hears in the studio, you lose so much information in that format. He also said when Neil Young finally gets this “Pono” format mainstream your head will explode when you hear that it’s so close to what you hear in the recording studio.
I went to see the Cirque de Soleil show “Love” and that sound system was unbelievable. They went back to the original studio recordings and used bits and pieces of The Beatles’ dialogue and you thought they were right there. They also remixed some of the songs. What an experience!
