I bet it can get pretty wild out on Fire Island when things blow in. It looks like your photo goes on forever

The Great South Bay is pretty big Boomdee and it does get kind of wild here when any sort of storm blows in. The Noreaster storms are the worst because not only do we get whacked from the South (Fire Island Side) we also get hit from the water being pushed into the Long Island Sound to the north and that water has no where to go until the storm is over. Net result is flooding on both sides of the island.
