  1. Fascinating this subject matter – abandoned old buildings. Although it’s a little sad to see them neglected and in disrepair. The best is when someone ‘saves’ the building and restores it. Thanks for a thoughtful picture.

    • I agree someone should be restoring these buildings, they are really built well and even have slate roofs which last forever. Thank you and have a great day 😀

You are on a roll with these doorway shots, and I love them. the clarity and color are so great. I long for the day when my images look this good. Not lblowing smoke up … well, you know … I’m very serious and envious!

    • Thank you for the compliment Laurie but I think your photos are great 😀 I think the clarity of the images is due to the lack of an AA filter on these Fujifilm cameras I am using. Most cameras have these filters over their sensors to prevent moire, but some companies like Fuji found another way to prevent this and removed the filters. Have a great day.

  3. I have similar thoughts with Mike, this is wonderful and creepy at the same time. 🙂 And, I love that overhang, quite a unique one with that “lacy” edge. Great photo Joe!

What do you think ? Let me know.
