I am always searching for a small compact camera that can be my every day carry and does not sacrifice image quality. As most of you know I am an avid Fuji shooter and my every day carry was a Fuji X100T but that has a fixed 23mm lens. I wanted something with a high quality fast zoom lens and at least a micro 4/3 sensor. I love the Fuji X30 also but I have given that camera to my wife in hopes that she can express herself through images. I think I might have found it with the newest Leica D-Lux camera. This image is an out of camera JPEG file with only a vignette added in post processing.

As I was taking photos of other monkeys at the Riverhead Aquarium this guy couldn’t help but come over to the glass to see if my exposure settings were correct :)

I always thought all bonsai were types of juniper or evergreen but once again I was wrong. This one was just starting to form new buds.
