This is an image of a mother and daughter out for a beautiful day of Kayak fishing in Huntington Harbor on the north shore of Long Island. It was a spectacular day to be outdoors and they were taking full advantage of the weather. I hope you enjoy.

The stern of an old wooden sailboat showing the rudder mechanism. I hope you enjoy.
Ready, Set, Shoot !
Fujifilm X100s – 1/100 a f/8.0 – ISO 200
I love going into Manhattan and just sitting and watching people go about their day. It was just a coincidence they are using iPhones and the Apple banner is behind them.
Sands Point
Fujifilm X-T1 and Fujinon XF 18-55mm R OIS Lens – 1/280 @ f/7.1 – ISO 200
This is part of the backyard and mansion at Sands Point Preserve (the whole back yard is way to big to show it covers acres and goes all the way down the cliffs to The Long Island Sound). There is also a Castle on the grounds. This was once the home of Henry Clay Frick, better known as the chairman of J.P. Morgans newly formed company, US Steel. He moved from Pittsburg Pennsylvania to New York and needed a home so he bought this one. There are countless mansions on the “Gold Coast” of Long Island. This is now part of the Sands Point Nature Preserve.
Last Light
Nikon D610 and Nikon 50mm AF-S G f/1.8 Lens – 1/800 @ f/5.6 – ISO 100
Last bit of light before the sun dips below the horizon at the marina. I hope you enjoy.
Coming And Going
Fujifilm X-E2 and Fujinon XF 55-200 R OIS Lens – 1/280 @ f/4.2 – ISO 200 – Manual focus mode
It was a blah type of rainy day but I thought I would still go out and have some fun with the camera. As they say “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade”. I hope you enjoy.
