Sometimes the best strategy in street photography is to sit somewhere and wait for people to come past you. I hope you enjoy.

Here is a fantastic performance of “Thing Called Love” performed by Bonnie Riatt on the Austin City Limits Show. I hope you enjoy.
As you can tell I am in a silhouette kind of mood today. This was taken just about right after the sun came over the horizon at The Great South Bay. I hope you enjoy.

Sorry about “Bad Moon Rising” folks but there is a problem with the video clip. So now we go to Plan “B”
This is a great live performance of “Centerfield” performed by John Fogerty and Keith Urban. I hope you enjoy.
It was a bright sunny day and I decided to underexpose this scene to get a silhouette that would look good in black and white. I hope you enjoy.

I thought this old fashioned “Merry Go Round” was kind of cool but it seemed kind of weird there were no children on this beautiful day. It reminded me of the Cat Stevens tune “Where Do The Children Play”. I hope you enjoy.

There is something strange about this photo that I just can’t put my finger on. Oh Yeah it’s upside down and it a reflection. I hope you enjoy.
Only one of these baby pinecones is really in focus at f/2.0 but I really wanted to isolate them from the background. I hope you enjoy.

This is a music video of a song written and performed by Long Island local Billy Joel. Years ago when this song was written the shellfish and fishing industries were in sad shape on Long Island but luckily they have bounced back to some degree. As you could imaging fishing is a big part of the local economy here. For those of you who are not familiar with the term Downeaster it is one of the types of boat used in the fishing industry in the New England area of the USA. I hope you enjoy.
