This looks like a comfy place to sit down and take a break. Wake me up in 1/2 hour :) I hope you enjoy.

This is a great live performance of “Zanzibar” performed by Billy Joel in Tokyo 2006. I hope you enjoy.
As most people already know Sagamore Hill was the home of Theodore Roosevelt the 26th American President. I was planning to post a series of photos of the main home but unfortunately when I arrived at Sagamore Hill I learned the main house was off limits due to extensive renovations so I had to take a photo from the only angle I could get with a telephoto lens.
This is an image of the windmill that was used to drive a steel cable that operated a pump for water delivery into the home.
Here is an image of the steel cable going through the roof of the pump house which is completely underground except for the roof.
A copy of newspaper from May 1905 explaining how much President Roosevelt loved his Long Island home.
I want congratulate my friend and fellow blogger “Uncle Spike” on the one year anniversary of the guest bloggers segment on his really cool site “Uncle Spikes Adventures”.
I was kind of freaked out when he asked me to to a guest post and I foolishly agreed because I had never done anything like this before. I am not a writer, I take photos (yikes what have I got myself into). For my friends in the USA thoughts of the TV show “The Honeymooners” and Ralph Kramden kept running through my mind (“I got a BIG MOUTH”).
Spike assured me I would be fine and he to told me to just document a day in my life with photos and don’t sweat the writing part. Well this is not exactly a typical day in my life but my contribution to the guest post is called “Making Music, Literally” which can be viewed along with other guest posts by clicking the link below.
Thank you again Spike and here’s to another year of guest posts. Cheers :)

This is a live performance of “6th Avenue Heartache” performed by The Wallflowers on The Late Show with David Letterman. I hope you enjoy.
A little iced tea and I’m all set (of course with my own special additive). I hope you enjoy.

This is a 28 minute four song set from one of the greatest rock and roll bands ever – The Who. These songs were performed at “The Concert For New York City” at Madison Square Garden on October 20th 2001 shortly after the September 11th 2001 tragedy. Unfortunately it was also one of John Entwistle’s (bass Player) last performances before his death.
I hope you have the time to listen to all four songs and enjoy.
This is a great little foot bridge on one of the nature trails at Bayard Cutting Arboretum. I hope you enjoy.
