This shot, at first glance, looks very simple and it is. when you look deeper, you see a whole lot more. In addition to the soft green crackled paint, you have the layering of horizontal and vertical lines of the clapboards and the window frames. The next layer is the small boxes of the chicken wire window covering and then the cherry on top (even thought it’s way in the back haha) is the opposite side window peeking through the front window with it’s deeper green color! That shot is a full plate. Love it!!
Seems like I have not been conscientious in following and commenting. I don’t know how you manage to see and comment on all my posts as well as everyone else’s. Retirement does have it’s benefits, I guess. I’ll have a lot less money but a lot more time. I think. December 15 is the proposed date.
You’ll end up loving retirement Emilio (it doesn’t suck) 😀 Once you get accustomed to making less money you will spend less except in my case with cameras, LOL.
Love the simple shapes and textures in this composition! Very nice.
