Nikon Coolpix A – 1/2000 @ f/5.6 – ISO 100
With the freezing temperatures on Long Island I haven’t really been out taking many photographs lately. ย Today I decided to go out with my Nikon Coolpix A so I could keep it in my jacket pocket along with my hands and just grab an image here and there. The title came from an old Alice Cooper tune that was popular in my teen years.
lol, Joe i remember that song very well.. and..umm me neither

Thank you Kathy ๐ And I thought I was the only one who remembered Alice Cooper.

Alice was on the Grammys with his new group (Johnny Dep)

As opposed to most of these old timers who know the song, I had to look up the lyrics. And I don’t know how the lyrics fit your post but the title sure does. One of my nightmares would be to have to sit through hours of church and sermons and psalms! Great shot, and yes, it does look like something Hitchcock would have featured in one of his films!

The lyrics don’t fit my post just the title Emilio ๐ Glad you like the image and thank you.
PS I couldn’t sit through hours of church either, LOL.

Ditto the comments previously. Was the sun shining on the building against a bright blue sky as is typical of some really cold days, or is that just the effect of the B&W editing?

You are correct Laurie the front of the building was facing south (strong sun) at about 11:00am and the sky was a gorgeous blue. I used some high contrast presets and added a red filter in Lightroom to darken the sky. Thank you ๐

Very Hitchcock- esque image – and the title is perfect for it.

Great photo, Joe … but the b&w does give it a rather sinister look to it, especially with the ghosty swirls in the windows. It seems to me the caption was perfect ๐
