This is a shot that even though it was just taken looks like it was taken anywhere from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. That’s even before “Topper”. Sad to say I remember that show too! I think if it were sepia toned it could pass as a vintage photo.
Thank you very much Emilio π I took this at the Smithtown Historical society. It was in the hallway with the south facing sun washing through the window in the front door. Love your comment and I’m surprised you didn’t think the hat was mine π
Absolutely perfectly stunning, Joe! Perhaps it’s the time of year, but this makes me think of Charles Dickens and “A Christmas Carol,” one of my favorite stories π
Thank you very much Stacy π Now that you mention “A Christmas Carol” it does look like the image would fit but in all honesty I was thinking of the old TV show Topper (you are way too young to remember that one).
i would gladly add this one to my collection

Beautiful shot, Joe. The hat looks like it’s been through a lot. Sort of like my favorite male photographer!

Hmmm, I have to admit I don’t know “Topper,” Joe. I’m at the tail end of the baby boomers. I missed out on Howdy Doody too π
