After a perfect day on the North Fork of Long Island one of the best things I can think of is stopping for an Ice Cold glass of “Suds” at a local restaurant.  The beer was from a local micro-brewery – Great South Bay Brewing Company and it was called- Massive IPA. The restaurant was Love Lane Kitchen in Mattituck and I was so pleasantly surprised by the food and service I plan on returning to try more of their food and writing a complete post at a later time. You will be hearing more about this eatery that features excellent food, artisan brews, local wine and home made cakes in future posts, but for now all I can say is the food and suds really hit the spot.

  1. It’s always great when you, by chance, find a new eatery that has awesome food. I never was much of a beer drinker, but sometimes when it’s hot enough, a nice cold one does look pretty inviting now and again. Love the shot and the review.

  3. The best part of traveling is finding local spots that blow you away and you can’t wait to come back. My hubby is the beer drinker, I’m more of a gin drinker. He got onto these things called ‘A dark and Stormy’ when we were in San Francisco. It’s rum from Bermuda and Ginger Beer, on the rocks.
