Fujifilm X-T1 and Fujinon XF 56mm f/1.2 R Lens – 1/2000 @ f/5.6 – ISO 200
Part of Huntington Harbor frozen solid on February 24th 2015. Β Kind of reminds me of the late 60’s and early 70’s song by Grand Funk Railroad “I’m Your Captain” π

A beautiful shot Joe! The architecture of the houses in the back is lovely, and the old boats too! π

Thank you very much Elina π Those houses are in the millions in price. There is actually a castle along that shoreline and further to the left the public roads end and private roads start so it’s hard to get any images in that area because it’s all private property.

Great photo! I know this winter has been brutal, but does the harbour freeze over regularly?

Not usually but with the weather for the past two years it has (polar vortex). Thank you for your comment Karen π If you like the image check out X-tended Vision – http://www.xtendedvision.com for more icy images in the coming days π
