This is an old porcelain coated metal coffee cup sitting on a boat builders desk. It seemed like this was part of his toolkit. I loved the way the porcelain is worn off the handle from use.

It’s funny how an image – like a sound or a smell – can trigger a memory.
When I was a kid, we had mugs like this at our summer cabin. It was exactly that – a rough cabin with no electricity, water, or amenities of any kind.
… but I remember those mugs!
