Great photo. I once spent some time working in a psychiatric institute back in 1980. Those images have stayed with me and they are not pleasant. Thank goodness for modern medicine and attitudes. 😀

Very much so. No wonder there was so much stigma attached to ‘mental illnesses’. Even now there is still a lot to be done to change these attitudes.

It was like working with a bunch of mental midgets and babies. Nobody worried about what they were doing it always boiled down to why is Joe allowed to do this, I’m not allowed do that. They were more worried about what I was doing rather than themselves which to me indicated that they did not have enough work to do 🙂
