I really liked the way this stone table top chess board looked in one of the local parks. You know I had to use selective color 🙂 I promise there are no hidden images that pop out when you hold your breath and stare at it without blinking, LOL. I hope you enjoy.

The green came out really well in this shot Joe, it’s usually one of the tricker filters on the X100S I find. I’ve been experimenting a lot with the selective colour shots recently, trying to capture those subtle tonal variations rather than just block colours. Very difficult to do with the blue I find as it the camera sensor seems to pick it up very vividly, regardless. I’ll be eager to find out if you have any tips that you’ve discovered with using the different colour filters.
Have a great day!

I think it depends on the shade of green Bess. It does seem to be one of the most difficult colors to get correct with the selective color filter. I find the yellow, red and orange filters to be the easiest to get correct, and like yourself I am experimenting with this. I would be happy to share anything I find out as soon as I am positive what is going on 🙂 You have a great day also 🙂
