Every June in Fireman’s Memorial Park, Lindenhurst Long Island a Fireman’s Tournament is held with most of the Long Island Fire Departments competing for the best times.  Make no mistake these are no ordinary Fire Trucks these are full blown race vehicles. All of this happens very quickly so I thought I would do something a little different by showing you a gallery of ten images all taken with the Fuji X-T1 and 56mm f/1.2 lens in high speed continuous shutter mode (8 frames per second).  This team is the Lindenhurst Snails Drill team.  To see a sequence in real time here is a YouTube video I shot with my iPhone of a different drill team – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J59pO9Rn8sI.  Although I prefer the still images I included the video to show how fast all this happens.
