  1. To keep that kind of car in brand new shape is pretty costly. However, for those who can afford it the car is beautiful treat.

Joe, I have question to you. If you have to make choice in between 16-55 or 16-80 lens, which one is preferable to you. I have right now 16-55 old. I like it too much, but it is a little bit too heavy compared to new one.

    • Thank you Alexander 😊 To answer your question it depends on which camera you are using and how many megapixels. For example I use both the Fuji X-E5 and X-T5 which are 40 megapixels. The heavier red label lens you mentioned will resolve the full 40 megapixels but it might be a little soft at 55mm. The 16-80 will not resolve 40 megapixels. Does that mean you cannot use the 16-80 on a 40 megapixel camera ? The short answer is no. I have used the 16-80 on both of my cameras and the results look fine but if I needed to crop an image to a very high magnification the image would look very soft. So the bottom line is if you want to purchase a Fuji 16-80 lens and use it on older models like 24 to 26 megapixels cameras you will be fine and even if you decide to purchase a higher resolution camera you can still shoot with the 16-80 just don’t do extreme crops in post production. Fuji did revise its “kit lens” which was previously the 18-55 to a newer XF 16-50mm R WR version which was designed to resolve the full 40 megapixels sensor. To sum it up the 16-55 f/2.8 red label lens is the sharper lens out of the two you mentioned but its heavier because of its robust build quality and 2.8 maximum aperture.

      • Thank you Joe.
I still use XT-2. It means for my camera 16-80 is good enough. The only my concern as I mentioned before is the weight of 16-55.
For the longer range I use Tamron 28-300. It’s not bad and is much lighter than 16-55.
I am not professional and do not make photos for selling. However I like to have good quality pictures for myself. It what photography is about.
