This could be in Sweden. It looks like the summer house I had there, only that the walls were red there, that’s the tradition. Originally, it was oxblood they used for preservation.

Thank you Klausbernd 😊 It’s kind of odd that this small home is situated where it is which is on an inlet in Stony Brook harbor. I don’t know if the home is owned by the town and seasonally opened or whether it is a privately owned home. Either way I thought the colors were interesting. I never knew that oxblood was used for preservation on summer homes in Sweden and I find that very interesting.

Dear Joe, driving overland in Skandinavia you see these oxblood red barns and little houses everywhere. They belong to this Nordic landscape.
