Happy pride month indeed! While everyone has known that I am a lesbian since coming out at age 16, now at 44, I plan to attend my very first pride event here in Vermont! 🙂
Thank you Thomas 😊 I’m glad to hear that you will be attending your first pride event this year. The first pride event that I attended was the NYC Pride event in 2017 along with a friend of mine who is also a photographer and it seemed like all of NYC was in party mode. I attended again in 2018 alone but the weather was just too hot and humid to stay for an extended period of time. As much as I would love to attend the NYC Pride event this year my legs really can’t take the constant standing in one spot (there are wall to wall people). Now in my old age I just attend local pride events where most of the attendees know me from past years and are more than glad to “strike a pose” for my camera.
