Joe! I’m so glad you’ve been able to capture some fall colors! We all feel l little lighter since last weekend, don’t we? I think that Mother Nature is celebrating, too!
Beautiful photo Joe! Having lived at a lake for years, I always look at the water levels and wow, this lake looks really high. It’s encroached on the tree line. The house on the right seems not too elevated from lake levels either. I’d be sweating if I were them.
Thank you Kelly 😊 This is a little lake and the water level is very stable. I doubt if the water level ever varies more than 3 or 4 inches. The house on the right was at one time owned by the parents of a friend of mine.
Oh that’s good. Our lakes here seem to go up and down. I think they’re feed by Spring melting then the water goes down over summer. So did you guys waterski out there?

This lake is too small for water skiing Kelly. Thats what the Great South Bay is for (about 1/2 mile south from this lake) 🙂
