    • This was taken while at the NYC “Me Too” rally at Trump Tower a couple of weeks ago Alys. It really was freezing and it was a wet heavy snow. Thank you and I hope you and your family have a Happy New Year also Alys πŸ™‚

      • Joe, I’m delighted to hear you attended the #MeToo rally. New York is an amazing place. You’ll never run out of interesting things to photograph. How do you keep your hands warm while still managing to use the camera? And I hear you’re in the thick of it with more miserable weather to come. Best of luck staying warm and dry.

        • Definitely no shortage of things to do in NYC Alys πŸ˜€ I was wearing light gloves (so I could feel the camera controls and work by memory). Thank goodness the Fuji XT-1 and lens are weatherproof. I was doing mostly one handed shooting also so both my hands wouldn’t freeze. Thursday’s snowfall was horrible. We only got 14 inches where I live but some of the drifts because of the hurricane force winds are 3 1/2 feet high.

          • What a brutal winter so far, Joe. I can’t imagine that wind. NPR did a program yesterday interviewing people that have to work outside (snow plow drivers, mail carriers, etc.). One guy said he wore three pairs of pants at once! Good grief. I hope you have some warmer days soon.

            • I couldn’t imagine having to work outside in that cold. You would have to use your whole lunch break up to take a leak wearing three pairs of pants LOL. Believe it or not this coming Friday the temperature will be in the 50’s Alys. Theres some crazy shit going on !
