Fuji X100F – 1/55 @ f/4 – ISO 3200
This image is kind of misleading because this gentleman is actually looking something up on his phone to help a customer.

Until I read your comment my thought was “ah, the way of the world today … always on the phone”.
Instead he was helping someone out.
Nice shot, Joe.

Thank you very much Laurie 😀 To be fair to the Metro North employee I thought I would clarify. This was taken on August 27th while meeting the other Monochromia contributors at Grand Central Terminal.

Great shot, Joe. Love the coke bottle peeking out from the corner of the window, too.

The photo is even more deceiving than that. It’s an anachronism. The b&w image combined with the old fashioned wicket gives the photo an *old* look … until you see the phone in his hands. Nice one 🙂

Thank you very much Joanne 😀 This was taken in Grand Central Terminal in NYC. It was lovingly restored to its former glory years ago. This terminal is a perfect example of the Golden Age of Railroads when people traveled in style on trains. The restoration never would have taken place if it were not for Jaqueline Kennedy.
