I think the prime lens forces you to be more creative and actually move around and view your shot from different angles rather than standing in one place and zooming in or out. And, having said all that, I can’t seem to take the 10-24 lens off my camera for long.

I was just out with it this weekend and my only problem is there are a lot of spots in the sky I always have to clean up. It’s been that way since day 1.

        • It might be dirt on your sensor Emilio. Try this to see if the dust is on your sensor – turn the electronic shutter on and go outside and shoot the sky with the aperture wide open, then stop the aperture down to f/22 or f/16 and shoot the same shot of the sky. If the spots disappear on the wide open shot the dust is on your sensor. If you have never cleaned the sensor yourself bring it to a shop (I always clean my own sensors but you have to be careful there is nothing abrasive on the sensor before swabbing it or you will scratch it). There are plenty of YouTube videos describing sensor cleaning. Also if you are using a filter on the lens take it off and see if you still have the spots. Some cheaper filters will cause reflections on the lens glass. This is one of the reasons B+W brand filters are so expensive, they are designed not to introduce reflections. Let me know how you make out.
