The gate does drop down as well as the doors closing Laurie 🙂 This estate is smaller than the one in Newport Rhode Island but I believe it has more land (I’ve been to both). I have never been to his estate on the Hudson River though. When you come up to New York the first stop we will visit is his masterpiece Grand Central Terminal. Thanks you so much Laurie 🙂
Thank you Gale and you are absolutely correct it’s the Vanderbilt Estate 😀It seems a lot harder to walk on the cobblestones than when we were younger 😩
