Love the perspective. How tall is the house? It looks like it is shorter than normal.

Very astute observation Emilio I’m surprised nobody else picked up on that. The lower part of the roof is about 6 feet which means after you subtract the thickness of the roof rafters the interior height of the wall would be about 5′ 5″. The peak of the food is about 9′. The part of the roof that is past the front door slopes down to about Knee height making a ladder unnecessary to do any repairs on the roof. A short couple must have lived here 🙂 Thank you.

How cool! I love tiny houses, though at 5’10” I’m not convinced I could live in one. They remind me of the beloved forts we built as kids. Now I’m showing my age. You’re such a talent, Joe, and so nice, too. I wish I was joining your crowd in New York. You’ll have such a good time.

Well, I understand that we have grown in height (as well as width) in the last few centuries. So depending on when this was built, it could have been for an average sized husband and wife. Maybe?
