    • Thank you so much Elina πŸ™‚ This is on the North Shore of Long Island and you can tell from the little rocks in the sand. All beaches on the South Shore have a finer more powder like sand like in a child’s sand box.

    • Thank you very much Laurie 😎 This kind of long exposure needs a special ND filter of at least 10 stops. Some people call it “black glass” because you can’t see through it.

  2. This one is gorgeous!! Love the way it starts in the lower left corner and works it’s way to the right being topped off with that beautiful horizon! The colors are beautiful! Great job!!!

    • Thank you Joanne πŸ™‚ With a 60 second exposure you could smooth out waves in an ocean. With a 120 second exposure you could probably make the busy streets of Manhattan look like a ghost town. The trick is at least a 10 stop neutral density filter and preferably a 15 stop for bright sunlight.
