Massive amounts of ice, I wonder if it has melted by now. Love all the wonderful texture in this shot Joe! We’ve had an exceptionally mild winter in Finland and now it’s been quite warm for a while, the snow and ice are mostly gone already (in the Southern parts of Finland).
Thank you very much Elina 🙂 Everything seems to be ass backwards, it’s warm by you and cold by me this weather is nuts. It was in the 50’s over the weekend and close to 60 degrees f today and ther is still about seven inches or more of snow on the ground.
Thank you very much Laurie 🙂 The 14mm Fuji is an incredibly sharp lens so I can’t take all the credit on this shot. It’s also one of the few lenses I had to buy, the rest of my arsenal of Fuji lenses were taken in trade for my Nikon gear 😄
OK, Joe, enough of the frozen tundra, frozen beach, frozen parking lots. I don’t even want to see a frozen margarita! Get me something hot and steamy and I’ll send you a more positive comment!
Are you sure about the frozen margarita Emilio ? That sounds pretty good to me ! Thanks Emilio and I’ll try to get something a little warmer for you 😄
Yup, I’ve had my fill of this stuff too … and the crunch it makes …. to last me for a very long time. The ice I’m looking forward to right now is the ice in my glass sitting in the summer warmth beside a beautiful body of water 🙂

Interesting subject. Great lines and textures that pop. I, too, look forward to seeing less of this in the near future 🙂

I hope to see far less of that ice and snow in the coming weeks. Or a photo from you of snow melt. 😉
