Such gorgeous photos Joe! 🙂 Is it still autumn there in NY or are the colors fading now?

The leaves are almost all down now and the weather is getting cold. By Wednesday we are supposed to be down to a wind chill temperature in the teens I think they said 18-19 degrees F
Plus now they say we are going to repeat last years Polar Vortex. Thank you very much Elina 🙂

Wow another Polar Vortex! The weather is so different these days compared to 10 or 20 years ago… at least over here. 🙂 Have a great week ahead Joe!

Thank you very much Alys 🙂 This is the last and I am glad you enjoyed them. I remember you saying you were originally from Ontario and the fall season up there is beautiful 🙂 Have a great day.

Thank you for giving us all a taste of autumn on Long Island. I do miss all the beautiful colors you get up north this time of year. There is not much change down here in Florida. There is one tree down here that is quite prevalent, sorry, I don’t know the name of it, but it seems to be the only tree that shows a color change. It has blooms that start out greenish yellow in August and change to a peach color in the fall. Kind of boring if you ask me. Everything is a trade off when you get down to it. I gave up the beautiful autumn colors along with all the raking and shoveling snow for a warmer climate. I am not unhappy with my decision. To each his own. Enjoy the season!

Thank you very much Gale 🙂 You are right everything is a trade off in life and to each their own. I’m not too fond of the shoveling anymore and the landscapers worry about the leaves now 🙂

Hi Joe, As far as I can see, Autumn was whisked away very quickly. Thank you for capturing such a lovely bit of it for those of us who missed it. Thank you also for following my blog as well. I’m no photographer and will never be. I have to make the print big on my computer to read blogs and comments but I point, shoot and pray. Then I crop and try to edit what I get so I can share and document our adventures through this life. If I’d know then what I know now, I’d have taken more pictures. Oh well. Never too late to start. My son is the photographer. I may get him to link his photos to my blog one day. I’ll be checking out some of your random blogs as time permits. Loved the Dalmation in “I see spots”.

Thank you very much 🙂 We have had unseasonably warm weather here on Long Island so the autumn leaves lasted a lot longer than I expected. Thank you for following my blog and I am glad you enjoyed the black and white side of me on “I see spots” which was originally posted on our black and white only photoblog Monochromia – http://groupexpo.wordpress.com Thank you and have a great day 🙂

Superlative creative work. Now I know why you love so much the Fujifilm gear, plus the skills you’ve accumulated over the years as a photographer. Gear and a keen creative eye—what’s more to ask?
Congrats!
