Few things are more inviting than these chairs. My wife just finished rehabilitating and painting a pair of Adirondack chairs we brought home from the woods near the closed up cabin of a friend who died several years ago–sanded, primed, and painted they look as new again. He’d be happy to see them saved, and I get comfort not only from the perfectly designed chairs but also my friend’s memory.

These chairs originated in the Adirondack Mountain region in upstate New York. Everything is very rustic up there and they make the most out of the timber that is in abundance. There are a lot of log cabins and builders that specialize in energy efficient log homes in this region. One of my favorite vacation spots is Lake George which is also in the Adirondacks. I would love to live up there but the wifey is not too keen on it, LOL. Have a great day Elina.

Here is a link to the local real estate for sale up in this region. There are a lot of hunting cabins or camps as they call them but there are also some really nice homes too.
